The EKPL Committee had a meeting last night (Tuesday 19th December at the Whitehills). Below are some of the key points to come out of that meeting that the committee would like to inform members of the website so that word can spread more quickly.

- The Committee ONLY will meet again on Monday 8th of January at 7-30pm in the Whitehills.
- The First Meeting of the year, where team registrations and appointed captains are to be entered / established will be held on Monday 15th of January at 7-30pm at The Whitehills.
- League fees will not be taken until the next EKPL meeting on Monday 4th of February at The Whitehills, starting at 7-30pm. £35 Monthly fees due for each team on this date.
- Any player who is intending Captaining a team is asked to contact Ewan Fraser ASAP so that the amount of teams for the season can be worked out approximately, prior to the actual meeting to register your team on the 15th taking place.
- Player registration payments will not be due until the meeting held at the begining of April. £6 per player registered.
- The Treasurer has a computerised list of all players currently an EKPL Member. This list will be added to this year and any non EK players joining the EKPL will be listed as an out of town (OOT) player. All existing players, no matter where they reside, are regarded as EK players. A team may only have a maximum of 3 "OOT" players in their team.
- The Committee are focusing on running Season 06's EKPL EK Singles sometime in March or April this Year.
- This Years EKPL EK Singles will be run later on in the year towards the seasons end.
- The Season will be made up of The League, The League Cup and also the Robert Black Cup.
- The Season will Start around the end of January / start of February.
- The League format is two groups of 7 Singles.
- Both Cups will be played to 8 singles and 4 doubles.
- The League Cup will be group stages and then knockout.
- The Robert Black Cup will be Straight Knockout.
- The season will kick off with the group stages of the League Cup.
